Ok, I have to admit, I am a smoker. Dumb move ever starting. I get that. Stupid thing to do because it kills people. I now pay additional taxes because of my habit. Lets look at this new tax for a minute. We are told the reason for the additional tax is to get folks to quit. Noble idea. Those that want to continue may do so at a higher cost. I have seen rants on Utube and the news from people that believe this is a great idea. "Tax it until they have no choice". "Tax it out of existence."
You folks crying out for these taxes may want to be careful what you wish for. Remember we are funding government programs with this additional revenue. My question for the anti's is the following. Who is gonna cough up (pun intended) the dough when you get rid of the tobacco? Is the program going to just go away?

When the tobacco $ is gone...One kidney will be forcibly taken from each taxpayer, and redistributed to kidney impaired illegal aliens. Of course, 65% of the removed kidneys will go bad from improper handling and incorrect paperwork, and 80% of actual recipients will die from improper installation by Government trained physicians- but it will all be FREE!
